Nubielena Medina is the Founder and Principal of NMG Consulting, Inc. She is a seasoned professional with over 15 years corporate, agency, and print media experience. With her leadership, NMG Consulting received the prestigious national PR News PR Legal Awards in 2010.
Prior to founding NMG Consulting, Nubielena was Vice President of ePagos Inc. where she was responsible for developing and directing communications strategies in Latin America.
Nubielena previously served as Vice President and Partner of The Apple Organization, a renowned public relations firm in Florida. In this capacity, she directed the real estate public relations campaigns for developers, contractors and realtors including Terremark Group, Inc., The Related Group, Millenium Partners, Breakstone Group, and Trump Dezer Properties.
For several years, Nubielena managed the in-house corporate communications arm of Visa International, Latin America and Caribbean Region. As the Senior Corporate Communications Specialist, she implemented public relations programs and developed strategies for the company, serving over 29 countries and territories. She also led Visa’s arts and cultural programs, Iberoamérica Pinta and Olympics of the Imagination.
Nubielena is a certified public speaker and was involved with Toastmasters International for several years during which she served as District 47 (State of Florida and the Bahamas) Public Relations Officer and South Florida Governor, among other leadership positions within the organization.
Among the recognitions she has received is her selection as one of the 2012 100 Latinos of South Florida. 100 Latinos Miami recognition of Latinos/Hispanics that, through their efforts, creativity, and involvement, contribute to the economic, social, and cultural development of Miami and the United States. In addition to her work with NMG Consulting, Nubielena mentors young entrepreneurs, providing professional branding and public relations training to tomorrow’s leaders.
Nubielena holds a Masters in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Western Illinois University. She has received specializations from the Université Catholique d’Angers, France and the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. Nubielena has traveled extensively throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia overseeing and implementing communications campaigns. Nubielena is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.
